LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-established organization to identify an Administrative Assistant for a part-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting daily operations, interacting with stakeholders, and keeping administrative processes running smoothly. Compensation: $20.00-$24.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Responsibilities Provide administrative support to department leadership and staff. Prepare, review, and maintain correspondence, reports, contracts, and departmental records. Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes. Create and track purchase orders, requisitions, and other financial documentation. Review and process invoices while maintaining accurate vendor records. Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming inquiries and service requests. Communicate professionally with internal departments, external agencies, vendors, and community stakeholders. Assist with newsletters, website updates, and other communications as needed. Provide reception and front desk coverage when required. Support special projects, events, and cross-functional initiatives. Maintain confidential records and information with discretion. Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 years of administrative, office support, customer service, or operations experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize competing deadlines. Professional and customer-service-oriented approach. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field. Experience working in a government, nonprofit, or highly regulated environment. Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, vendor management, or financial systems.
