License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT
Must-Have: ARRT certification in hand at time of submission. Must be STEMI ready to apply. IABP and Impella training required.
Description: One week day call per week; every 5th weekend call. Average daily census is 25-30 patients. There are 7 rooms in the unit. Patient age group includes adults and geriatrics. If you have EP experience, you will be floated to EP as needed if Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology cases are low. Call is required; during a 13-week contract, you will take call two weekends from Friday 6 PM to Monday 7 AM plus one night each week. If on holidays, one holiday call is expected. Experience with EMR, specifically Epic, is required. General skills required include IV starts and EKGs. Experience in interventional radiology and angiographic procedures is essential. Skills in stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis are necessary. Facility accepts travelers based on experience. Travelers are expected to float to other units and/or facilities as needed. Scrubs will be provided. References are required from within the last 24 months. Fingerprinting may be required for specific units. The clinician's schedule may change with two weeks' notice to balance staffing.
